Man shot, killed outside Las Vegas convenience store

The Clark County coroner's office has identified a 37-year-old man killed in an early morning shooting at a convenience store on Sahara Avenue, just east of Nellis Boulevard.

The coroner's office said Chadrick Wilson of Las Vegas died of multiple gunshot wounds Thursday.

Las Vegas police officer Laura Meltzer said an employee called 911 to report gunfire a little after midnight.

Police found Wilson in the parking lot of the Sahara Mini-Mart. He was taken to Sunrise Hospital, where he later died.

Authorities said Wilson and another man had been in a fight inside the store that moved to the parking lot. One man fled after shooting Wilson.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black man between the ages of 20 and 25. He stands about 5-feet-7 and has a thin build, corn-row hair style and a tattoo on his left hand. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, dark colored striping on the collar, sleeves and pockets and with vertical striping on the button line, baggy khaki shorts and black socks and shoes.

Anyone with information on the suspect is urged to the Metropolitan Police Department Homicide Section at 828-3521 or Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
