A Las Vegas man shot a motorcyclist in the chest during a roadside confrontation late Friday afternoon in Henderson.
Police spokesman Keith Paul said the motorcyclist was headed west on Windmill Parkway near Pecos Road when a car cut him off. The 54-year-old motorcyclist confronted the driver, who pulled a handgun.
Police said the motorcyclist suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center's trauma unit.
The 57-year-old gunman went home and called police to let them know he had shot the man. Officers took him into custody and booked him on attempted murder charges, Paul said.
