North Las Vegas police arrest two robbery suspects after standoff

North Las Vegas police arrested two armed robbery suspects Friday afternoon after an hourlong standoff in a home on Lawry Drive.

Officer Chrissie Coon, department spokeswoman, said the suspects robbed a SuperPawn on Las Vegas Boulevard just before noon Friday. When officers responded, the suspects hopped into a car, and a police pursuit followed.

S.W.A.T. officers responded after the suspects holed up in a home on the 2100 block of Lawry Drive, near Comstock Drive and Lake Mead Boulevard, Coon said.

Both suspects are facing robbery and other charges, Coon said.
