2 dead after shooting Tuesday in northwest Las Vegas

Police are investigating a shooting that left two dead in the northwest valley Tuesday night.

About 6:15 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting near the 2200 block of North Torrey Pines Drive, near the intersection with West Smoke Ranch Road, Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Timothy Hatchett said.

“Officers arrived and located two victims,” Hatchett said. “Victims were taken to UMC trauma and both were declared deceased.”

Metro homicide detectives are investigating.
