Attempted murder suspect caught after chase in Southeast Las Vegas

A suspect wanted for two counts of attempted murder was taken into custody after a chase in Southeast Las Vegas early Saturday morning, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said.

According to Lt. Charles Jenkins, nobody was injured during the pursuit after which the 20-year-old male suspect was arrested.

Jenkins said the chase lasted approximately 20 minutes and that all speeds were within speed limits. He said after the arrest, the suspect was transported to the Clark County Detention Center and is currently being interviewed by detectives.

Members of the public witnessed the chase and posted about the incident on social media.

Metro did not supply any information about the identity of the suspect or if anyone else was in the suspect’s vehicle during the chase.
