Coroner identifies man shot, killed in southeast Las Vegas

The Clark County coroner’s office has identified the man who was shot and killed in the southeast valley Wednesday night.

Jaime Borja Molina, 53 was shot and killed on a bicycle about 10:15 p.m. in front of the Budget Suites of America at 4855 Boulder Highway, near Flamingo Road, after two men approached him, Las Vegas police said. One was yelling at him and a fight broke out. The other man shot at Molina about seven times.

Molina was hit at least once in the chest, police said. The two men drove off after the shooting.

Molina died after being taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, police said.
