Man shot to death after fight Friday in southeast Las Vegas identified

The man shot and killed after a fight in the southeast valley Friday night has been identified by the Clark County coroner.

Shawn Stevens Manymules, 25, whose city of residence is unknown, died of a gunshot wound to the chest, according to the coroner.

Officers responded to a shooting in the 5100 block of Tropicana Avenue near the intersection with Nellis Boulevard about 9:20 p.m., according to Las Vegas police.

An investigation indicates Manymules and two other men were fighting in front of a convenience store when one of the two men shot him. The two men then fled in a blue vehicle, police said.

Upon arrival, officers found Manymules unresponsive with gunshot wounds. He was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center where he later died.

This is the 83rd homicide investigated by Metro in 2016.
