Las Vegas police named a person of interest late Friday in the stabbing death of a woman found dead inside a southeast valley home Friday afternoon.
Michael Garcia, 54, was dating the woman found dead. She had been stabbed multiple times, and police believe her death may have been domestic-related.
Officers were called about 2:30 p.m. to the home where her body was found, on the 5500 block of Hobble Creek Drive, west of Russell Road and Nellis Boulevard, Metropolitan Police Department officer Michael Rodriguez said.
Though the woman’s body was discovered Friday, police believe she had been dead for several days.
The coroner will name the woman once her family has been notified.
