The fatal shooting of a customer at a southwest valley Starbucks on Sunday appeared to be a random act and the suspect did not know his victim, police said Tuesday.

A Henderson man accused of stabbing his wife to death while their three young children were home had previously been arrested for attempted murder and convicted of battery with a deadly weapon, records show.
In a statement, Metropolitan Police Department said that at 12:25 p.m. Tuesday, it received a report that a stabbed person had been dropped off at MountainView Hospital without explanation.
