Updated October 27, 2018 - 1:33 pm

Las Vegas police are investigating a homicide after a gunshot victim was found lying in the road in the northeast valley late Friday.

Officers were called to the scene in a residential area at Pecos Road and Haddock Avenue, north of Carey Avenue, at about 11:45 p.m. Friday after multiple people reported gunshots, Metropolitan Police Department homicide Lt. Ray Spencer said Saturday morning. Police found a male in his late teens with multiple gunshot wounds lying in the northbound travel lane of Pecos Road.

The victim was taken to University Medical Center, where he later died.

Police believe two men were involved in the shooting, but officers had no further description or motive for the suspects Saturday morning, Spencer said.

The victim will be identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.

Las Vegas police were investigating two other shootings Saturday morning, Spencer said.

At about 1:10 a.m. police were called to a bar on the 3400 block of Nellis Boulevard, north of Cheyenne Avenue, after a woman fatally shot her ex-boyfriend in what police said was self-defense. The man threatened to kill her, and the woman believed he was reaching for a gun when she shot him inside the bar, Spencer said.

At about 8:15 a.m. Saturday, Las Vegas police were called to the southwest valley near Jones Boulevard and Russell Road after two men got in a fight. A man who lived on the 6000 block of Conroe Court shot the man he was fighting with. The victim was transported to University Medical Center, where he was in “extremely critical condition” Saturday morning, Spencer said.

Another man died in a shooting in the Las Vegas Valley late Friday night, North Las Vegas police said. A 20-year-old man was found dead outside an apartment complex on the 3300 block of Civic Center Drive. The man may have been involved in a fight, and was found with a gunshot wound to the side upper torso, North Las Vegas police said.
