Two suspects arrested in connection with deadly Las Vegas shooting

Two suspects were arrested Tuesday in Dallas in connection with a June homicide in Las Vegas.

At around midnight June 26, Las Vegas police responded to the 10400 block of Bermuda Road, near Cactus Avenue, around midnight for reports of a shooting.

The Metropolitan Police Department said three men were inside a car in a convenience store parking lot when they got into an altercation with 29-year-old suspect Adrian Johnson and 18-year-old suspect Gerald Fuller. One of the two men walked up to the car and fired a handgun at the car, hitting all three occupants, police said.

Johnson and Fuller ran from the parking lot and left the scene in a dark-colored car, which police said may have been driven by a third person. All three men were taken to University Medical Center where two victims were injured and 18-year-old Gianni Corsentino was pronounced dead, police said.

Fuller and Johnson were taken into custody Tuesday by the Dallas FBI Violent Crime Task Force, in conjunction with the Dallas Police Department homicide section in the great Dallas Fort Worth and Dallas proper areas. Both are housed in the Dallas County Detention Center and are awaiting extradition to Las Vegas.
