Two men armed with a crowbar forced their way into a Spring Valley home about 1:15 a.m. Saturday.

According to Las Vegas police, three people were in the home, located near Yellow Daisy Ave. and Climbing Rose St., when two Hispanic males forced their way in.

The intruders injured one of the occupants during the break-in and escaped with personal property.

Police said the victim suffered a non-life threatening laceration and was transported to an area hospital.

A Las Vegas man indicted in a scheme to steal $7 million in U.S. Treasury checks in Utah was arrested over the weekend in Lyon County, Nevada, a federal prosecutor said Monday.
