Las Vegas police looking for suspect in armed robbery

Las Vegas police need assistance identifying a man who robbed a business near Rainbow and Charleston boulevards about a month ago.

The man entered the business with a firearm on June 14, confronted an employee and demanded money, police said.

The man is described as a black man, about 30 to 35 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, 190 pounds, with a mustache and long sideburns. The incident was captured on surveillance video and he was wearing a blue beanie, sunglasses, blue shirt, blue pants and black-and-white shoes.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Las Vegas Metropolitan police robbery section at 702-828-3591, or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.

Tips directly leading to an arrest or an indictment processed through Crime Stoppers may yield a cash reward.
