Man robs Lowe’s store in northeast Las Vegas

Las Vegas police are seeking the public’s help to find the man who robbed a Lowe’s Home Improvement store in the northeast valley Sunday morning.

Around 8:30 a.m. a man entered the Lowe’s Home Improvement store at 2465 N. Nellis Blvd., confronted two employees near the manager’s office and cornered them into the office. At gunpoint, he demanded cash from the office and bound both of the employees’ hands during the robbery, police said.

A pregnant victim was jabbed in the abdomen area with the firearm, causing her discomfort, police said. She was treated at the hospital for precautionary reasons.

The suspect is desribed as a light-skinned, possibly Hispanic male in his 30s, approximately 5-foot-8 and 170 pounds. He was wearing a gray hoodie under a dark jacket, dark pants, and black shoes. He was armed with a black semi-automaic handgun.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Metropolitan Police Department robbery section a 702-828-3885 or Crime Stoppers at 02-385-5555.
