Men tried to restrain woman with zip ties in Wednesday night robbery

Three men attempted to restrain a woman with zip ties after they robbed her late Wednesday night, Las Vegas police said.

About 11:28 p.m., a woman was robbed by three men near her vehicle in the 1600 block of Foremaster Lane, near the intersection of Owens Avenue and Bruce Street, Metro spokesman Larry Hadfield said.

After the three men, described as in their teens or 20s, took the woman’s purse, they attempted to restrain her, Hadfield said. She fought back and was able to free herself and escape, he said.

The woman was taken to University Medical Center with unknown injuries. The three men involved got away, Hadfield said.

No further details were immediately available.
