Metro looking for ‘persons of interest’ in May robbery

Las Vegas police are asking for the public’s help identifying two “persons of interest” in an armed robbery that occurred in May in the northeast valley.

Police said a victim was walking about 3:30 a.m. on May 13 near the intersection of North Lamb Boulevard and East Owens Avenue when two men confronted him.

One of the men pointed a long-barreled silver revolver and demanded money and property. The other man also was armed, police said.

Police released a 30-second clip of surveillance video showing the men, whom police described as black; between the ages of 17 and 21; about 5 feet, 8 inches tall; and about 145 pounds.

The man with the silver revolver was wearing a dark-colored jacket, dark pants and a backwards baseball cap, police said. The other man was wearing a dark T-shirt and dark pants and had a faded haircut.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of these two men may contact investigators from Metro’s northeast area substation at 702-828-7355.
