Police seek help finding motorcyclist who robbed businesses

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a string of armed robberies Tuesday.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the suspect committed the armed robberies near Spring Mountain Road and Rainbow Boulevard. The suspect, described as a white man, about 6 feet tall, weighing 200 pounds and between 30 and 40 years old, would park his motorcycle outside a business and then enter to rob the employees at gunpoint, Metro said.

“The subject would then flee the business on the motorcycle wearing a black half-helmet motorcycle helmet,” Metro said in a news release.
