1 dead in northwest Las Vegas shooting after brother shoots brother

One person died after police said his brother shot him at a northwest Las Vegas Valley home Friday afternoon.

Just before 3 p.m., a shooting occurred at a home in the 10200 block of Yarmouth Sea Court near Farm Road and North Hualapai Way, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

The shooting was between two brothers, police said.

The person shot was taken to University Medical Center’s trauma unit where he later died.

As of 7 p.m., no arrests had been made, Metro Lt. C.J. Jenkins said.
