Suspect in deadly Las Vegas weekend shooting in custody

A juvenile is in critical condition after shooting himself Tuesday night in the northeast valley.

The shooting was reported about 10:45 p.m. on the 3300 block of Covey Lane, near Las Vegas Boulevard North and Cheyenne Avenue, according to Metropolitan Police Lt. David Gordon. The juvenile was hospitalized in critical condition.
