Man dies in east Las Vegas stabbing
A man died Sunday evening after he was injured in an east valley stabbing, Las Vegas police said.
Just before 4:50 p.m., the man was taken to University Medical Center and underwent surgery his wounds, Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Leon DeSimone said. The stabbing occurred near Charleston and Nellis boulevards.
The man later died, Metro Lt. David Gordon confirmed late Sunday.
A Hispanic male on a bicycle is a suspect in the stabbing, DeSimone said.
