Las Vegas Cultural Corridor plans Camp Corridor

The Las Vegas Cultural Corridor's Camp Corridor, featuring activities at museum and library attractions downtown, is slated from Monday to July 14. Visit facebook.com/culturalcorridor.

Participating sites include:

The Las Vegas Library, 833 Las Vegas Blvd. North, plans to host Bookmark It! from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday. Children can sign up for the library's summer reading program and decorate a bookmark to take home. Call 507-3500 or visit lvccld.org.

The Las Vegas Natural History Museum, 900 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is slated to host X Marks the Spot! from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday to Friday. Participants can build a compass and try to find hidden objects in the museum. Museum admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, military personnel and children 12 or older, $5 for children ages 3 to 11 and free for children 2 or younger. Call 384-3466 or visit lvnhm.org.

The Lied Discovery Children's Museum, 833 Las Vegas Blvd. North, plans to present Super Cold Science Summer Fun at 11:15 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. The program showcases what happens to household items at -320 degrees Fahrenheit. Museum admission is $9.50 for adults and $8.50 for children and seniors. Call 382-3445 or visit ldcm.org.

The Old Las Vegas Mormon Fort State Historic Park, 500 E. Washington Ave., plans Pioneer Summer Activities including historical tours, games, arts-and-crafts projects, scavenger hunts and more at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday.
