Musical Arts Singers to perform at Winchester Center

The 22-voice Musical Arts Singers will perform Hispanic, Korean and Broadway music at 2 p.m. Saturday at Winchester Cultural Center, 3130 McLeod Drive.

Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 on the day of the event. Call 455-7340 for details.

The concert will feature the popular "Misa Criolla" by Argentinian composer Ariel Ramirez, and the unusual "Horn Mass" by Korean composer Byung Hee Oh.

"Misa Criolla" is based on the rhythms of traditional Hispanic America.

Kyle Tolstyka, a UNLV graduate student, will play the French horn solo in "Horn Mass." Vocal soloists will include Suzanne Russell, Daniel Dziekziak and Rodney Arnett.

Among Broadway selections will be the choral overture from "George M!" and songs from "Showboat."
