THICK FOG BLANKETS THE STRIP
January 24, 2009 - 9:13 am
An unusually heavy fog rolled into the Las Vegas Strip on Saturday about 8 a.m., so thick at times that many of the largest resorts disappeared from sight. For a few moments, the top of the Stratosphere couldn't be seen. The fast-moving fog bank vanished within minutes and the sun returned. The photo was taken from Regency Towers at Las Vegas Country Club. (Norm Clarke photo)
