Dozens of food trucks rolling into Foodie Fest

More than 40 food trucks are expected to converge on the Silverton, 3333 Blue Diamond Road, for the Las Vegas Foodie Fest today through Sunday. Besides specialty vendors, the event will offer a beer garden (with warm drinks in case it's cool), carnival rides and eating competitions. Hours are from 4 p.m. to midnight today, noon to midnight Saturday and noon to 10 p.m. Sunday. It's $8 per person per day (free for kids shorter than 54 inches), or $12 for all three days. ...
