Liver and onions is truly an old-fashioned dish. With the increased popularity of world cuisine, are any restaurants even serving it anymore?
A whole bunch, clearly. Last week's liver-and-onions query from reader Jim Plumer generated more responses than any in recent memory.
Leslie Hall and Mike Cangelosi recommended Blueberry Hill, Cangelosi, Debbie Caponera, Paul B. Winn and Beverly Cousino suggested Mimi's Cafe, Mary Erickson suggested Claim Jumper -- all of which have multiple locations in the valley -- Emelyn Delacruz recommended Cafe Cortez at the El Cortez at 600 Fremont St., Libby Casolari, Judi Caro and Sheryl Siegl recommended the Grand Cafe at Red Rock Resort at 11011 W. Charleston Blvd., Gary Patton recommended M&M Soul Food at 3923 W. Charleston Blvd. and Joe Kofron pointed out the Sahara Saloon at 3345 E. Sahara Ave.
