Licorice tea spotted by readers

Licorice is another of those things with no middle ground, you either love it or hate it. Anita Kesler clearly loves it; hence her request to Taste of the Town for Stash Licorice Spice Herbal Tea. Fellow reader Kim Atwood spotted it at Glazier's Food Marketplace, 8525 W. Warm Springs Road, a source for lots of hard-to-find items. And Evonne Lane e-mailed that she orders from the company at www.StashTea.com (or call 800-826-4218). ...

For Traci Riley, who's looking for Choward's scented gum, Lorene Johnson wrote that it's available at Grandma Daisy's Candy & Ice Cream Parlor at 530 Nevada Highway in Boulder City -- as is the Teaberry gum Riley also is seeking, Johnson said -- and Vivian Friedman reported finding it at Glazier's. ...

For Alexander E. Kohler, who's looking for a local source for smoked eel, Dean B. Pomerantz said it's available in cans at 99 Ranch Market in China Town Plaza, 4255 Spring Mountain Road, and Scott Kagan said he saw it on the buffet at Bellagio, 3600 Las Vegas Blvd. South. ...

For Mary Martin, Bridget Willis faxed that Lawry's dry spaghetti mix is available at Vons at 7530 W. Lake Mead Blvd. ...

For Jacque O'Hara, who's looking for Parkay stick margarine, Karyn Schmidt said it's available at Walmart Neighborhood Markets and Supercenters and Robert Lepore reported seeing it at 99 Cents Only. ...
