Mirage restaurants celebrating Olympics with special menus

The Mirage, 3400 Las Vegas Blvd. South, will celebrate the Summer Olympic Games with restaurant specials from July 27 through Aug. 12.

Kokomo's will offer prix-fixe menus priced at $79, $99 or $109 per person. The three-course Bronze menu has an entree of braised short rib banger or lobster-stuffed Dover sole, the Silver menu includes wine pairings and the Gold has further additions.

Carnegie Deli is offering The Olympian, a plate with signature dishes including The Woody Allen corned beef and pastrami, My Fair Latkes, cheesecake and Dr. Brown's soda, and those who finish in 30 minutes will get a Carnegie Deli shirt and hat.

And the Cravings buffet will include British-style dishes including Irish back bacon, bubble and squeak, London broil, Yorkshire pudding, Welsh rarebit and bangers and mash. ...

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, 3708 Las Vegas Blvd. South, will host a "Top Chef Masters" viewing party at the Boulevard Pool at 9 p.m. weekly from this Wednesday through Sept. 26. ...

Evohe Spanish wines will be featured in a dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Spiedini at the J.W. Marriott, 221 N. Rampart Blvd. With an entree of Castilian-style beef rib-eye steak, four tapas plates and dessert, it's $68 per person, plus tax and tip. To reserve, call 869-8500. ...

Onda at The Mirage continues its Discover Italy series. Through Wednesday, the cuisine of Sicily is being highlighted with a $59 three-course prix-fixe menu, with unlimited wine pairings for $18 extra. ...

Botero at Encore, 3131 Las Vegas Blvd. South, now offers the Botero Supper Club, with a special menu, cocktails and celebrity DJs beginning nightly at 9. ...

Origin India, 4480 Paradise Road, is offering Tiffin lunch box specials from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. They're $9.95 each and include a weekly changing entree, two side dishes, rice and naan. ...
