Perfect time for hot cocoa

Few things are more traditional at Christmastime than a cup of hot cocoa, so it's fitting that today we have news for Virginia Lee, who's looking for Hershey's Special Dark. Colleen Sams found it at Albertsons at 2650 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway in Henderson and Shae Wilhite found it at Vons stores and at Walmart Supercenters and Walmart Neighborhood Markets. Wilhite added that, at Walmart, it's sometimes in the coffee aisle near the hot cocoa mix, instead of in the baking aisle, as it is at Vons. ...

For Geri Guide, Sams said Italian panko can be found at the same Albertsons, and Debbie Caponera said she buys it at Glazier's Food Marketplace, 8525 W. Warm Springs Road. ...

For Ellen Dreyer, who's looking for Entenmann's New York-style crumb cake, Bill Friedlander e-mailed that he gets it at Martino's Italian Cafe, 10345 S. Eastern Ave. in Henderson, adding that it is shipped in from New York and sells out very quickly, so it's best to call ahead. ...

For Johnnie Herman, who's looking for fresh monkfish, Scot Campbell e-mailed that he gets it at Glazier's and Vic Martinez finds it at the International Marketplace, 5000 S. Decatur Blvd. ...

For Louis Barr, Bob Plutte e-mailed that Glazier's has Lender's frozen bagels, and Sandra Gersh finds them at the Walmart Supercenter at 6464 N. Decatur Blvd., adding that they're near the margarines and cheeses. ...

For Joan Bailey, Jean LaDuca of LaDuca's NY Italian Deli, 6160 W. Tropicana Ave., makes pizza rustica for Christmas and Easter. ...

More on bracciola: Dee Anne Culmone and Robin Vegas suggested The Sicilian Caffe, 3520 E. Tropicana Ave., and Andy Steiner recommended Montesano's Italian Eateria at 9905 S. Eastern Ave. ...

More on sweet-potato fries: Bev Greer recommended those served at Marilyn's Cafe at the Tuscany, 255 E. Flamingo Road. ...
