Philly favorite easy to find

Wanna start a heated discussion between a couple of Philadelphia expatriates? Tell 'em they don't know from cheese steaks.

Luckily, our local lovers of this treat from the City of Brotherly Love do, and they have a couple of suggestions for Ryan Haladyna, who's looking for the best Philly cheese steak in the Henderson area. Geri's Olde Philadelphia, 3430 E. Tropicana Ave., was suggested by Sheri Jacobs and Dave Bourgeois, with Jacobs adding, "It's not Henderson, but worth the ride." And Pennsylvania escapee Joan Sabatine recommended Ciao's at 3421 E. Tropicana Ave. ...

For John and Barbara Lakkard, who are looking for Frank's Sauerkraut, Kathy Peltonen reported finding it at Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market, and Andrea Castillo Church found it in the refrigerated section at Albertsons at 7151 W. Craig Road. ...

For Anita Miscimarra, who's looking for fresh torrone candy, Mamie Glorioso suggested Roma Deli at 5755 Spring Mountain Road. ...

For Buzz Floyd, Charles E. McManis faxed that roblochon cheese can sometimes be found through www.IdealCheese.com (or call 800-382-0109). ...

And for Marinus Baadsgaard, Lou Elliott said bumbleberry ice cream is available at Nielsen's Frozen Custard at 9595 S. Eastern Ave. ...
