Readers have scoop on gelato

There's not much better on a hot summer day than a scoop of cold gelato, and since we're having a lot of those now, it's fitting that readers have several suggestions for Connie Hannon.

Terrylynn Hayes and Del Barry recommended Vivido Gelato in Boca Park, 1000 S. Rampart Blvd., with Hayes vouching for the German chocolate cake flavor. Estelle Engel recommended Cafe Gelato at Bellagio, 3600 Las Vegas Blvd. South. Brandi Nave and Jennie Ondra recommended the Gelato Cafe at 120 S. Green Valley Parkway in Henderson; there's another at the Fashion Show mall, 3200 Las Vegas Blvd. South. Nave also recommended the Ciao Bella brand served in the dessert-bar area at Whole Foods Market. And Karen Saunders suggested Tutti Gelati in The Village at Lake Las Vegas, adding, "what better place to sit and enjoy a gelato than the lake?" ...
