Readers like their steaks

We're a steak-loving city in a steak-loving country, so it's no wonder that several readers have suggestions for Karen and Bob Dell, who are looking for suggestions for a restaurant where they can find a good steak "without spending an arm and a leg."

Barbara Davis recommended Kitty's Cafe at the El Cortez, 600 Fremont St.; Bri Ulivarri suggested Kristofer's Steak House at the Riviera, 2901 Las Vegas Blvd. South; Vincent and Anna Coates recommended the Wildfire Casino, 1901 N. Rancho Drive; and Louise Thompson, F. John Kennedy and Joan W. Justi recommended Ellis Island, 4178 Koval Lane. Thompson also suggested any Village Pub location, because they're associated with Ellis Island. "It is not on the menu; just ask for the steak special when you go -- they'll know what you're talking about," she said.

And I'd like to add that "without spending an arm and a leg" is relative, because prices ranged from $8 to $32. ...
