Readers sweet on black walnut ice cream

It's springtime, and readers' fancies apparently are turning to ice cream. That would be, specifically, black walnut ice cream, and we have a suggestion for Jim Perine, who's looking for it.
John Dooley, Sylvia Engel, June Shook and Nichola Rowden all suggested Smith's and Food 4 Less, with Dooley noting that although it's the house brand, "it's as good as some high-end ice creams I have eaten," and Engel writing, "I have some on a cone every night." ...
