Suncoast hosting cupcake baking competition

Some 100 bakers will compete for the title of Best Cupcake Baker in Las Vegas from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Suncoast, 9090 Alta Drive, and the public is invited to taste the cupcakes and the efforts of flair bartenders. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for kids 12 and younger. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Project Today, and the winning cupcake will be available at Gigi's Cupcakes in Las Vegas.
