Red Rock Resort announces concert series

If a taste of spring brings a thirst for summer, Red Rock Resort is already planning ahead for you. A mainstream rock-friendly series has been announced for the outdoor Sandbar pool area, with three shows on sale soon. (All ticket prices are before fees and taxes.)

— Lifehouse, May 3. Tickets are $39 for general admission and $79 reserved and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.

— Kansas, celebrating 40 years of classic rock, May 17. Tickets are $39 general admission and $69 reserved, on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.

— The Goo Goo Dolls team up with Daughtry and Plain White T’s on Aug. 1. Tickets are $69 general admission and $129 reserved, on sale April 4 at 10 a.m.

Station Casinos has not announced a packaged series of summer concerts for any of its other properties. But Sunset Station will host a May 30 “Under the Stars & Stripes” with Gary Allan, Darryl Worley and others teaming up in a benefit for Randy Couture’s Xtreme G.I. Foundation.

Tickets are $49 general admission and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
