Vegas Stripped: The Turquoise Chief of Las Vegas defends Native American heritage — VIDEO

“Turquoise Chief”, as he goes by, owns the store A Traders Turquoise Chief at 1000 Charleston Blvd. in Las Vegas.
He’s spent an entire life defending his Native American heritage, because he is also half-white. He fought other Native Americans on the reservation he grew up on in New Mexico, but then learned how to make jewelry, knives, and other valuables with turquoise to gain acceptance.
