LAPD swarm home of Stephen Collins after fake suicide report

The Los Angeles Police Department rushed to “7th Heaven” star Stephen Collins’ rental home Tuesday night in response to a call of a loud bang, fearing the actor had committed suicide.

Former “Baywatch” actress Donna D’Errico, Collins’ neighbor, tweeted that he had shot himself before posting a photo. That tweet has since been deleted.

Police told The Hollywood Reporter that there was no evidence of a gunshot at the residence.

Audio emerged online of the star on Monday with Collins allegedly admitting to molesting three underage girls. The audio is reportedly from 2011, recorded from a private therapy session by his estranged wife.

In response to the allegations, 67-year-old Collins was fired from the cast of “Ted 2,” according to Entertainment Weekly. Representatives of the film said his involvement was not enough to disrupt the film.
