Local acts ready for ‘America’s Got Talent’

These guys aren’t wasting any time.

Las Vegas-based entertainers John van der Put and Sergey and Sasha Korolev will compete on the season premiere of “America’s Got Talent” (8 p.m. Tuesday, KSNV-TV, Channel 3).

The Korolevs, a father-daughter acrobat duo, have been performing together since Sasha was 5.

Van der Put, a comic magician who performs under the name Piff the Magic Dragon, also appeared on “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” and has toured with Mumford and Sons.

If previous years are any indication, they’re just the first of many locals who’ll appear on the variety series in its 10th anniversary season.
