A look at some of the DVDs, CDs and books hitting stores this week: DVDS
"Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows" (PG-13): Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) and Watson (Jude Law) return to battle criminal mastermind Professor James Moriarty (Jared Harris of "Mad Men") across Europe in this sequel that also stars Noomi Rapace ("Prometheus").
Elsewhere, Nicolas Cage is back as Johnny Blaze, Satan's bounty-hunting biker, in "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance" (PG-13), which co-stars Idris Elba, also of "Prometheus." And a wealthy businessman (Tyler Perry) falls for the single mother (Thandie Newton) who cleans his office in the romantic drama "Tyler Perry's Good Deeds" (PG-13), which, sadly, features no one from "Prometheus."
Topping today's TV-to-DVD transfers: the HBO movie "Too Big to Fail," about the 2008 financial meltdown, as well as "Entourage: The Complete Eighth and Final Season," "Episodes: The First Season," "Scandal: The Complete First Season," "Missing: The Complete First Season" and "GCB: The Complete First Season."
