Beach Boys ready for fun, fun, fun on Mandalay Bay Beach

Summers are only endless on Beach Boys albums. So if you have to say goodbye to this one, it might as well be on a beach. With Beach Boys.

Original members of "America's band" still tour in three different incarnations, but this one, helmed by singer Mike Love, carries the official name. Though the clock is ticking on any 50-year reunions before 2011 ends, Love, Brian Wilson and Al Jardine have been in the recording studio together this year.

"It's not for us anymore. It's really about the fans now," Jardine noted a few ago when he brought his own touring band to town.

Love's bunch plays at 9 p.m. Saturday at Mandalay Bay Beach, 3950 Las Vegas Blvd. South. Tickets are $45; call 632-7580.
