Blues & Brews on tap Saturday at Springs Preserve

There's no better combination on a hot June day than a mug of ice-cold beer and the sounds of the blues. And that's just what guests will enjoy Saturday at the Brews & Blues Festival in the Springs Preserve amphitheater, 333 S. Valley View Blvd.

The event, open to those 21 and older, is from 4 to 8 p.m., but advance ticket buyers will be admitted at 3 p.m. Tickets are $35 in advance or $40 at the gate . Advance tickets are available online at springspreserve.org or at the Springs Preserve box office and at Lee's Discount Liquor stores.

Entertainment will include the Chris Bell Band at 3:30 p.m., The Lucky Cheats at 4:30, Scott Rhiner and the Moanin' Blacksnakes at 5:30 and Ronnie Baker Brooks at 6:30.

Beers featured at the event include New Belgium, North Coast, Anchor, Firestone, Walker, Pyramid, Full Sail and Wasatch.
