"This is an ode to the wonderful feeling of love," singer-songwriter Brett Dennen writes in the liner notes of his latest album, "Loverboy." And it's a wonder the dude didn't dot his i's with little hearts, such is the doe-eyed, bordering-on-precious earnestness inherent in his sweet-voiced tunes.
