David Cassidy singing at South Point

While David Cassidy sings on the road this summer, his lawyers are hard at work suing Sony over alleged unpaid use of his image in merchandising for ...

"EFX"? "At the Copa"?

Just messin' with ya. Of course the litigation centers around "The Partridge Family," the '70s sitcom that was one of the first to be merchandised on a worldwide scale.

But Cassidy did live in Las Vegas in the late 1990s and early 2000s, with both of those shows giving the 62-year-old a forum beyond his teen idol fame.
