Iggy Pop delays Hard Rock show

Iggy Pop has postponed his Sept. 10 concert at the Hard Rock Hotel after breaking his left foot during a show in Romania.

The good news for fans is that ticket-holders are encouraged to hold on to their tickets if they so choose (though refunds are available). When concerts are canceled for more suspicious reasons, fans are asked to apply for refunds.

A news release is detailed to the point of naming the 64-year-old rocker's orthopedic doctor.

"I think I broke my foot whilst performing 'Search and Destroy,' " Pop says in a statement. "I hate this. I hate like hell to cancel or postpone anything. I only saw the doctor because it hurt so (expletive) much and I couldn't fix it myself. Please be patient, I am so excited about these dates on the left coast."
