iHeartRadio fest at MGM Grand to star Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, more

It's going from bad girls, cosmopolitan cowboys and Steven Tyler to ... even more bad girls, cosmopolitan cowboys and Steven Tyler.

Last year, the iHeartRadio Music Festival debuted in Las Vegas with a loaded lineup of pan-genre music stars that included Lady Gaga, Kenny Chesney, Nicki Minaj and many others.

On Sept. 21 and 22, the fest returns to the MGM Grand Garden with another star-studded bill featuring Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Bon Jovi, Pink, Shakira, Aerosmith (whose frontman, Steven Tyler, performed a solo set at iHeartRadio 2011) and many more.

The fest is a way for radio behemoth Clear Channel to promote its iHeartRadio digital music service and, as such, features performers who span a variety of radio formats, including hip-hop/R&B (Lil Wayne, Mary J. Blige, Usher), rock (Linkin Park, No Doubt, Green Day), country (Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley) and Latin music (Shakira, Pitbull, Enrique Iglesias).

In a nod to the growing popularity of electronic dance music, the event boasts a slew of big-name DJ-producers this go-round, including deadmau5, Swedish House Mafia and Calvin Harris.

As in 2011, the shows will be streamed live on iHeartRadio.com and various Clear Channel stations.

Tickets for iHeartRadio go on sale Saturday at Ticketmaster outlets.
