Jon Anderson's songs are often about peace and harmony. The ongoing politics of the band Yes? Not so much.

The pioneers of prog-rock hit the road with a sound-alike singer after a severe asthma attack and respiratory failure hospitalized Anderson in 2008. The group soldiers on without him, but Anderson, 66, will serenade fans with only his guitar and unique voice in a solo acoustic showcase.

Show time is 8 p.m. today in the Ovation Lounge at Green Valley Ranch Resort, 2300 Paseo Verde Parkway. Tickets are $22-$36; call 547-5300.
