Live in the moment with Gypsyhawk
September 14, 2012 - 1:07 am
Call it the wisdom of Jeff Spicoli.
"Calm down. Don't freak out. Live in the moment. Now!" Gypsyhawk singer/bassist Eric Harris instructs on "Overloaded," the lead track on the band's latest disc, the far-out, van rockin' "Revelry & Resilience."
It's some sage advice from these Cali dudes whose '70s rock-informed jams are all about good times, dueling twin guitar leads and the occasional foray into quantum physics (seriously).
They even throw in a cover of Johnny Winter's "Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo" just in case you didn't get the message already.
