Madball rides into Area 702 Skatepark

They're the Big Apple's metallic core. New York City bruisers Madball have long brought the menace and danger of a late-night subway ride to the contemporary hardcore ranks. Frontman Freddy Cricien is the younger brother of Agnostic Front singer Roger Miret, and the heavily tattooed bellower brings plenty of history and hellfire to the table -- and then he smashes your face into said table.

See Madball at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday at Area 702 Skatepark, 3040 Simmons St. Tickets are $15; call 870-7588.
