Matthew McConaughey, Adele set for ‘SNL’ in November

LOS ANGELES — Matthew McConaughey is set to host "Saturday Night Live" on Nov. 21 with musical guest Adele.

Adele will perform on the NBC variety show just a day after the release of her new album, "25." The British songstress has described the album — her first since 2011's "21" — as a "make-up record." She released her first single in three years, "Hello," on Friday.

Mcconaughey hasn't stepped on the Studio 8H stage in over a decade, but he has been there in spirit. Jim Carrey hosted and spoofed both McConaughey's Lincoln MKC ads as well as his "True Detective" character, Rust Cohle, last year.

November will also see Donald Trump return to hosting after a long hiatus. The presidential contender will appear on the show on Nov. 7.
