Sweden’s Grave make death metal as dirt simple, malevolent and to the point as their moniker implies. Though the genre has grown increasingly posited on carpal-tunnel-syndrome-inducing technical acrobatics since the band’s early ’90s debut, these dudes continue to mow ’em down with cast-iron jams as catchy and lethal as the plagues they occasionally sing of. See Grave at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Cheyenne Saloon, 3103 N. Rancho Drive. Tickets are $13 in advance, $15 day of show; call 645-4139.
