Reverend Horton Heat playing House of Blues

According to legend - aka his band's Wikipedia page - Jim "Reverend Horton" Heath attended a Cramps gig in Dallas way back in the day, after which a fight broke out between punks and rockers.

It was said to have a profound effect on the then-aspiring musician, and we believe it: Decades later, the Reverend Horton Heat's supercharged psychobilly still sounds like an attempt at bringing together those warring factions.

Bluesy, boozy, randy, raw and kind of funny at times, the Rev's feel-good catalog continues to try and unite everyone at the bar for yet another round.
